Do you want to add more color to your yard? Do your plants die before they even have a chance to bloom? Are you spending too much time, energy and money on your yard or garden?
Down 2 Earth Gardens provides garden, yard and landscape consultations at your home or business. Our commitment is to reduce the use of money, time and precious natural resources while improving the health and beauty of the land – one garden at a time!
Services List: Sample Garden Design and Notes - Want to have a better understanding of the process? Here are some of the forms used in your garden design. The Coaching package - includes a review of your needs (you are sent a worksheet prior to the appointment to complete to guide you through the thought process) and a walk through your garden/yard. (This can be virtual with photgraphs of your yard.) Some clients just want to ask me all of their gardening/landscaping questions and we do sort of a personalized Q & A session! I also coach the DIY Gardener through their gardening projects.
The Design package - includes a design and plant recommendation list created specifically for you. In addition to the time and service listed above, I go back to my office and hand draw your site and place recommended plantings. Your plant list is very thorough including, sun, water and care needs.
The Installation package includes the Design package and oversight on installation. Since I do not install any plantings or hardscape I work with reputable landscaping companies who do. I will work hand in hand with them, making sure they install the entire design or just the components you want to do at this time. I communicate the vision, double check the order/estimate, get quotes for you and oversee that they do the work correctly.
Coming soon - Rainwater harvesting in metro Phoenix; removing bermuda grass and sustainable edible gardens.
Note: The Garden Goddess does not install plants, trees, shrubs or any other landscaping elements. (The only exception is the Exterior Staging Package.) I have many trustworthy companies I work with and can oversee their work, upon your request.
Exterior Garden and Home Staging
You know that staging the interior of a home helps it sell – so why not also stage the exterior or stage the garden? Curb appeal is very important, especially since people will drive by a home before going inside. First impressions do have an impact on the sales cycle! Many prospective buyers drive by a home and say ”I could tell from the curb, it wasn’t the house for me!” What if your front or back yard invited prospective sellers to enter it and led them right up to your front door?
With a little color from living or artificial plants, patio furniture or a cozy chair with a brightly colored pillow, you can transform the impact of a front porch or back yard.
Exterior Staging on front porch, gardens or patios. Think pots for plants, furniture yard art, etc. Whatever it is, I will place it, clean it, paint it or plant it to make it POP!
Coordinate yard cleanup and landscaping or recommend new planting to improve the look of the outdoor space.
Note: After sale of house, all live and artificial materials planted in seller’s pots are property of the seller. Any pots or chairs I bring in to stage are my property and will be removed.
Use of live or artificial plants is determined by occupancy. If home is vacant and has no means to water pots, artificial plants will be used.
Staging is the placement of items to improve visual appeal and beauty of space. It does not include landscape or yard cleanup or the cutting or trimming of live or dead plants.
